I've been studying for about 3 months now, and am scheduled to take the official exam in about 5 weeks. I've been seeing steady progress in my practice test scores and have been feeling pretty good with my plan. I took a Knewton practice test this morning, expecting to finally see a 700. I felt good while I was taking the test, so I was shocked when I scored 600 (Q36, V38).
Two weeks ago I took an
MGMAT test and scored 690 (Q44, V39). A few weeks before that I took a GMAT Prep test and scored 690 (Q40, V44). I don't mind the fluctuating verbal scores, since I haven't spent much time studying verbal. Quant is my weakest area, so I'm mainly just focusing on growth in that section. I know CAT scores should be taken with a grain of salt, but, to see such a drop in my quant score is extremely frustrating, confusing, and de-motivating.
