I have a question about the quant. I am aimeing for the 80/80 split and to get that in quant you need a 44 or 45 not sure which. How many wrong answers would that equate to? I know its tough to tell bc some arent counted in your score but does anyone have an estimate for this?

The 80th percentile for the Q section should be about 47.

80th percentile has moved up that far? wow thats basically only getting 3 or 4 questions wrong. Is it true the only way to get 51 is to get every question right?

Hi,

For the examinees from Jan 00 through December 02, the 80th percentile was 46. I think it has increased in the last two years.

I have experimented with PowerPrep. The results are:

51 in quant: no mistakes
50 in quant: 1-3 mistakes (you can get 50 with 3 mistakes!)
49 in quant: 3-5
48 in quant: 5-6

It matters of couse in which questions you make these mistakes. I intentionally made 3 mistakes in the first three questions and got the rest right. The score was 48

thanks. Ive still got a ways to go to achieve my goals but Im confident that with more practice I'll get there.
