I say why not? Especially if you're wanting more practice tests. It's the closest you can get to the actual GMAT.

I'm using it now. Its worth it.
I really dont know what the "current standard" is, but I found verbal questions to be good (GMAT-esque in general)

See it like this: If you score badly this time, will you buy it for your retake? if yes, I say buy it now.
if its about money: $25 is not a big amount for 400 odd questions. In fact its a good bargain.
if its about time: we all know our time is best utilized when we solve official questions.

Sorry, I'm a little bit late to the conversation, but just in case you have a flash of buyers' remorse: I completely agree with jumsumtak. There's no substitute for official questions, and $25 for 404 questions is actually a pretty good deal, especially compared to, say, GMAT Focus (24 questions for $29.99!).

And compared to the $126,000 you'll spend in tuition when you get into HBS, the Question Pack is really, really cheap.

I agree with all of the above.
Its a good buy considering you have exhausted your verbal prep.
However after buying please keep the file safe. I formatted my PC and now I cannot get it back, so I will probably have to buy it again.

I'm pretty sure that the GMATPrep Question Pack is yours indefinitely. When it was first released earlier this year, the questions would disappear and then reappear for no particular reason, but they seem to have fixed that glitch.
