How much time do you anticipate spending on studying for the GMAT? And/or, how much time did you spend studying for the GMAT?

The most common study plan that I observe lasts about three months. In my case, however, this schedule did not suffice. I needed four to five months of intense study - and I'm glad that I went with this approach.

I noticed that you asked how long people anticipate to study, rather than how long they actually studied. Was this deliberate? Either way, this is an interesting question and I look forward to seeing the full results!

Yes, that does sound like a good amount of time. For example, with the Magoosh plans, we call a "three month" study plan, but of course if you devoted more time to review or spaced out the work a little to accommodate a full time job, it could easily fill 4-5 months. It does look like that's the "winning slot" in the poll at the moment. (Of course, what are the chances that someone who is planning to study only for a week or two even would find this poll?)

You know, originally I said it that way because I though the majority of folks roaming around on GMAT club would be here because they have yet to take the test. I changed the wording above, because of course I am interested in folks who have finished their studying also.
