Retaking the GMAT after starting school?

Question

Hello, I've tried searching for this question, but could not find an answer. I took the GMAT in 2012 and started a Part Time MBA program in 2013. I've decided that I no longer want to do full time work with part time school and have decided to attend school full time. However, I want to retake the GMAT to get in to a more competitive school. Is this still an option? Are there rules against applying to another school after accepting admissions to a different school?

As far as I know, no there aren't. Although, you will be forfeiting any deposits/fees that you have already submitted.

You can absolutely do it if you feel that GMAT was a factor or will be a factor in getting better school acceptance.

You can do this, just don't expect any of the courses you've already taken at the Part-time MBA to transfer to the full-time program. At best you can try to test out of core courses if the school allows it, but top MBA programs don't take transfer students like undergrad.
