I gave the GMAT in mid Dec and received a 690 (48Q, 36V) on first try. I used Magoosh and Manhattan GMAT (Quant) and can say that both are good resources.
I am looking to take the GMAT again in 3 months time or so and am targeting a score of 750. Any ideas on how to go about increasing this score? What books, classes or resources would you recommend. Looking at my first attempt, I need to improve my Verbal to give a boost to my overall score. Also my Quant could increase to a 50Q with a little more work. I think I can continue to work on Quant using Manhattan GMAT. But am a little confused on what to do for SC, CR, RC questions. 2 resources I am looking into are Manhattan Verbal and e-GMAT.

Hi there,
Great job on your GMAT work so far! The tough thing about studying verbal is that there aren't all that many tough official verbal questions and in my opinion there aren't any great non-official verbal options. I would take a look at LSAT Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning. They are great practice for people looking to boost verbal. The LSAT questions are really tough but the logic is very similar to the logic of GMAT questions so they really prepare you for the 700 level GMAT verbal. The other thing I would consider is reading a challenging article everyday. This can really help with the entire verbal section. I generally suggest the Economist but any challenging reading will help.
On the Quant side I would work through the GMATclub tests. They are really good for pushing Quant to the next level. Let me know if you have any questions!
