Hello,
I recently took the GMAT, I haven't even received my official scores yet, and I had a few questions regarding my scores. I would really appreciate any input.
My unofficial scores are as follows (with percentiles in brackets):
Integrated Reasoning: 6 (67%)
Quantitative: 44 (58%)
Verbal: 41 (94%)
Total: 700 (89%)
Firstly, how likely are the numbers to change?
Secondly, do you think my quantitative score can hurt me a lot?
Thirdly, I am currently applying to two different programmes (in the UK), one is finance related and requires the GMAT, and the other is political economy and the universities I am applying to do not require the GMAT. Do you think my score could help me with the latter? Or should I not send it?
I am about to graduate from Bentley University with a double major (finance and global perspectives) and a minor (international economics) and a g.p.a. of around 3.65.

First off, a 700 is an outstanding score, so you should apply to any program that you want to. The Q44 is a good performance, but not "elite" - that having been said, a few specific Finance programs might *want* you to have a higher Quant score, but you would not be likely to be rejected because of it. Business School Admissions Officers are savvy people - they know that you don't have to have a Quant score in the high 40s or 50s to be a fantastic applicant. This is why the OVERALL application matters - Admissions Officers are going to nitpick all of the details, so you need to be sure that your ENTIRE application is as strong and "polished" as you can make it.
In answer to your original question, I've never heard of anyone's Official score varying by more than 10 points from the Un-Official Score (and that happens rarely), so these scores are likely to be your Official Scores.
For specific questions about specific Schools/Programs, you'll likely be better off working with an Admissions Expert. There's a Forum full of them on this site, so you should pose those questions in that forum:
