Hi all,
I just took the GMAT yesterday to disappointing results (42 Q, 40 V, 8 IR). I'd like to refocus my efforts to achieve at least a 49 Q and at least a 720 overall before my next exam on May 16.
I know exactly what I need to focus on (obviously: lots and lots of math, but I know the specific areas of weakness). I also know how I learn best: I like to learn a concept through a lesson, complete a few problems in conjunction with that lesson, and then do a LOT of practice problems that test the concept in various forms to "drive the point home".
My original study plan took place over ten weeks and was, at best, a hodgepodge of various resources. I'm in Forte Foundation's MBALaunch program, so I listened to webinars twice weekly on various quant and verbal GMAT topics. I used Kaplan's Math and Verbal workbooks as an initial overview. I went through the entirety of Manhattan's Foundations of Math workbook. I completed the OG's problem solving questions. I also had access to the Veritas self-study course, but skipped around in lessons and problem sets to try to address perceived weaknesses. (For the record, this is not at all a pan of Veritas. I really got a lot out of the lessons, and would highly recommend the program. Feel free to message me if you have questions! Detailed review coming after I retake the exam.)
This time, I'd like to have a strategic plan of attack that doesn't involve making the GMAT my life for the next two months. I want to reset my Veritas course and start from the beginning, but I'm also willing to spend a few dollars on a supplemental course that emphasizes the basic quant concepts and allows me to design custom problem sets that specifically address my weaknesses.
I'm considering a couple of prep courses, both under $500 (which is, to be frank, the absolute most I want to spend on any additional prep). Does anyone have any experience with the following?

Target Test Prep's math course (online, $500)
--GMAT Club +
Magoosh ($150, and I'd get verbal prep, too) - is this in-depth enough? The price seems too low
Related: I've used both of the GMATPrep software tests twice. I'm very wary of resetting a third time, because my scores were significantly inflated when I retook the test (about five points with each subscore) and I experienced mostly repeat questions on verbal. Should I bite the bullet and buy the two extra GMAT Prep exams? Or will I be okay with just the prep company's tests?
Thanks for any advice!
