I can really only provide advice on the quant section, but you should be able to recognize the properties being tested on each problem within 15-20 seconds after reading the question. This level of familiarity is required to achieve a competitive quant score.

Thanks for the response ak1802. I guess one way I could work to achieve this is by making a habit of asking myself "What is being tested on this question" before every practice question I attempt. I feel like this applies to sentence correction as well.

For Quant, you should know that if a DS question asks: is x^3 > 0 , it's asking for the sign of X. Is X positive or negative.

For Verbal, I don't want to give misleading information, because I didn't score that well on the section.

Take a look at those videos, hopefully you have an iOS device.

I do, thanks. I haven't watched too many videos over the course of my studies but the ones I have watched seem very helpful. I will take a look at these.
