Hi,
I'm planning on taking the GMAX online course. Currently, I have:
OG 10th edition
Kaplan GMAT 2005 Edition
Arco-Master the GMAT CAT 2004
If you have already taken the course, could you please let me know if Barron's guide is really necessary for the homework questions? If it's not, I won't be buying it.

good question...i'm interested in knowing about this as well.
From what I've heard Barron's material wasn't that great.can anyone provide their opinion on this material?

You ask if the Barron's GMAT book is really necessary. The book is well suited to the GMAX Online course, and is used throughout the sentence correction lessons and homework. I agree that it may be less valuable as a self-study guide, but we don't intend you to use it that way.
Nevertheless, many students find the math review and questions helpful.
