Hi msapster,

That's interesting that you would be denied a "new" scratch pad (as the staff is not supposed to be *debating* whether you need a new pad or not). What Pearson Center were you testing in?

Thanks for the responses!! I like the idea of working on a different IR problem per page - perhaps in extra large font...hopefully that will satisfy the proctor. I'm taking the test in Austria - maybe they interpret the erase board rules differently...

It is strange behavior for sure, but not totally unexpected given the location. Good luck next time through. Your preparation should pay off for you...

Hello,
I bought a Manhattan booklet that comes with marker and it got delivered today. I have checked on Amazon for a refill but the marker refill is not available in my location. Can anyone tell me for how long does this marker would last ? ... my GMAT is on 20th May and I am planning to use the marker rigorously for the next ten days to make myself comfortable with it.

Thanks in advance
Devansh.

Hi Devansh,

I'd have to assume that this marker will last at least 10 days, so the risk of it 'running out' is probably minimal. Even if it doesn't though, it's just a marker. As a future MBA holder, you're going to be expected to be a professional, flexible thinker in any number of ways - including using a writing tool that you might not have used before. If you stay calm, focused on working efficiently and making good decisions on Test Day, then everything should be fine.
