Hello,
I've written 4 GMATPrep tests (I purchased the extra 2 tests). I clicked the button in the software that resets the first two tests and then wrote the practice CAT. Unfortunately, I had seen 80% or more of the questions already, including my AWA question and pretty much all the IR questions.
I was under the impression that I could get at least 2 more tests out of this software with very few repeat questions. Maybe I'm resetting wrong? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi eltonj,
The pool of questions that comes with each GMAT CAT is limited - so retaking any of those CATs will lead to a certain number of repeat questions. As such, those 'retakes' will NOT provide a realistic score result. You can still use those CATs repeatedly for general practice, but if your goal is to receive a realistic score result, then only the first attempt at each will give you that result (assuming that you're seeing a full set of *new* questions).
Thankfully, there are enough realistic CATs on the market that you can continue to practice.

I expected some repeats but I was surprised at how many I had. I wrote another one after resetting the second set of exams from GMATPrep and it was similar but had less repeats.
How long have you been studying?
4-5 months, on and off
What resources have you been using?
MGMAT Guides, some Veritas prep videos/their free question bank, other resources from here and there.
How have you been scoring on your CATs?
On the 4 GMATPrep tests I took previously (zero repeats on any of these as I purchased the two additional tests), my scores were:
Test 1: 720 (Q: 46 V: 42)
--Several week break--
Test 2: 640 (Q: 47 V: 32)
Test 3: 710 (Q: 48 V: 39)
Test 4: 730 (Q: 49 V: 41)
Wrote the real test on June 15th
GMAT: 690 (Q: 48 V: 37)
I got stuck on a tough reading comprehension passage and had 3 minutes to complete the last 11 verbal questions.
What is your score goal?
I'm writing the test again on Friday (July 17th) but I haven't done much studying - just a little maintenance. I think a reasonable goal is 710 or 720. Any last minute tips?
