I am on scholarship program and it is my first time to take a GMAT exam. i am scheduled to have the exam on dec 22 !!!! very short notice ,right?? but i have started studying since the first of September. i am not looking for a high ranked school so i just need a 550 score but the problem is that i tried the gmatprep exam twice and i got 380 and 390 
. i don't know what is wrong, i study each day for not less than 5 hours , i finished all kaplan questions and working on OG 2015. so can anybody help me ??by thw way iam not a native speaker and that makes the CR part my worst nightmares.

Hey rehamazazy,
With about 7 weeks to study, here is a customized 2-3 month study plan that can help boost your score to hit 550: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... study-plan
Use this as a guideline. You don’t have to follow it exactly but the structure of the study plan should be the same structure that you take in your approach. This helps to optimize your retention and learning.
As you study, we recommend that you focus on one particular subsection for multiple consecutive days before moving onto the next. You can see this in our study plan where we recommend 5 days on nothing but SC -- before moving onto CR and then RC.

I'd like to know a bit more about how you took these CATs:
1) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on each?
2) Did you take the FULL CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?
3) Did you have trouble finishing any of the sections on time (and did you have to guess on a bunch of questions just to finish?)?
4) Did you do anything during the CATs that you won't be allowed to do on Test Day (pause the Test, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
While a 550 is a reasonable goal, and there are many different score 'combinations' that will get you to that goal, you're going to have to put in some serious work to raise your score 160+ points in 7 weeks.
