Hi rehamazazy,

I'd like to know a bit more about how you took these CATs:

1) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on each?
2) Did you take the FULL CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?

3) Did you have trouble finishing any of the sections on time (and did you have to guess on a bunch of questions just to finish?)?
4) Did you do anything during the CATs that you won't be allowed to do on Test Day (pause the Test, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?

While a 550 is a reasonable goal, and there are many different score 'combinations' that will get you to that goal, you're going to have to put in some serious work to raise your score 160+ points in 7 weeks.

1- my scores were 27 Q / 16 v
2- no i didn't take the AWA and the IR parts
3- no i didn't leave any questions unanswered on the contrary i answered so fast that i didn't answer right, and yes i had to guess alot because of time
4 yes i had to pause the test once
please tell me what can i do to improve my scores, thanks in advance

Hi rehamazazy,

I have a few follow-up questions about your timeline and plans:

1) Is December 22nd the latest that you can take the GMAT?
2) What type of deadline(s) are you facing?
3) How do you 'know' that you 'just need a 550 score?'

Hi......
like i have said iam studying gmat through a full scholarship program ,so iam not the one who scheduled the exam it is the organization of the scholarship.
1- they scheduled the exam on dec 22 and i can retake it after that but on my expense that is why iam trying to get the scores from the first exam
2- i think now you can understand about the deadline i should start school on September 2016 that is why my scores should be ready as soon as possible to have time to apply for universities.
3- i need that score because the universities that contribute with this organization ( that of the scholarship ) just need a 500 as minimum score

Hi rehamazazy,

Since you're on a specific timeframe, you have to make the most of these 7 weeks. Given your starting scores and your specific score improvement needs, I think that you would find the EMPOWERgmat Total Score Booster to be quite helpful. Most of our clients complete that Study Plan in well under 2 months, so that Study Plan should fit your timeframe. We have a variety of free resources on our site (www.empowergmat.com), so you can 'test out' the Course before setting up an account.

If you have any additional questions, then you can feel free to contact me directly.
