Hi all,
I tend to reward myself between study sessions by PC gaming for a short while. Online gaming has the greatest "get yourself out of your head" effect; however, online servers are plagued with lets just say a variety of 'interesting' children. Would be good to game with like minded people to some degree. As the GMAT is dominating my life at the moment, I thought I'd see whether this proposal appealed to anyone else here! Would be good to game and discuss GMAT concepts with other fellow gmatters
I tend to play GTA 5 and will be playing Rainbow Six Siege that is due to be released December 1st (open beta November 25th). The foundation upon which Rainbow Six is built appears to be one of teamwork, strategy, and improvisation - all good skills..

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I usually find myself asking students to spend less time gaming (at least less time playing all those mobile games).

In earnest, I didn't expect much traction; however, I didn't think that there was any harm in reaching out to gauge interest. My post intended to target an audience who wasn't gaming 'too much' per se but rather that which was keen to network, game, and 'potentially' increase the stress relief benefits that according to some is attached to gaming. Jane McGonigal is one such proponent of purging/relieving stress via gaming.
That said - it is very easy for such interests to spiral out of control. Balance is the key to pretty much everything
