All tests were in standard test conditions except for the last GMAT prep, where I skipped the essay.

I remembered a few of the verbal questions from the last time I took the GMAT prep a few months ago, but I am not too worried about my verbal score.
However, I am worried about the quant section. As I mentioned, the main issue in the MGMAT CATs was timing as I spent too long trying to answer questions I was stuck on. However, on the GMAT prep exam I never really got stuck nor had issues with timing. Will the actual GMAT be more like the GMAT prep or MGMAT CATs in that respect?

The GMAT test will going to be more like the GMAT prep CATs as they have the same creators.
If you remembered some questions on the CAT, then a 760 might not be a true reflection of your standing.

To get a correct representation, try to attempt another GMAT Prep mock CAT if you can.

All the best!

Hi msmee55,

The Scoring Algorithm on the Official GMAT is proprietary, so no GMAT company has an exact match for it. Thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. Retaking a CAT that you've already taken almost always leads to artificially 'inflated' scores, so you should focus on taking 'new' CATs from now on (and take them in as realistic and test-like a fashion as possible). The GMAC CATs are arguably the most realistic CATs on the market, but they have limited pools have questions, so they're not an exact match for what you might experience on Test Day.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hey msmee55,

We can't comment for other tests but do note that no test prep company's algorithm will exactly match the real thing. The best we can do is get close.

You can always take a free GMAT PILL practice test here complete with detailed performance and timing analytics: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test

In terms of our scoring, many of our students report scores that are +/- 30 points from their actual GMAT test and so are a relatively good indicator of their performance. That said, no practice test can perfectly replicate the actual score algorithm, but this is quite close.
