Dear GMATers,
I would like your advice on this: I have a GMAT SCORE OF 710(took the exam first time) [AWA 5/6, IR 5/12, QUANT-49, VERBAL-38]. I am getting call from HULT SCHOOL OF BUSINESS. I have read many blogs saying the School is a "Sham".
What should I do?
I have a GPA of 2.8/4.0 in the graduation- it therefore means that in all possiblity, I am not getting admitted to the top B-schools in USA/GERMANY/UK etc. I dont know what to do. Should I retake the exam and aim for a higher score(but my past karma of 2.8/4/0 will still hurt me). Other that that I have been working in the banking sector for 4 years and my overall resume looks "OK".
Kindly guide me.
Also provide me some schools that are good and I may have a chance of getting admitted in.
regards,
Ankit

Hi Ankit,
GMAT scores and GPA are just a part of your application. There are many other things such as essays, extra curricular activities, leadership potential etc. that are tested in your application. Yes, getting in the top schools will be an uphill task, but you should not give up without even trying.
You can get useful advice regarding your profile in the admission consultant section here:
ask-admission-consultants-124/?fl=menuYou can even get a free profile evaluation.
Regarding HULT, if you are convinced that you will be able to reach your career goals fro, HULT, go for it.
Have a look at the placement reports, talk to the current students and alumnus to understand more about HULT and then take a decision.
