Hi,
Greetings.
I am a faculty wirking with an IIT-JEE training institute in India.
I am taking the GMAT in the last week of August.
My background is Science and research (Chemistry). I have about 2 yers of experience in research and part time teaching, 2 years of entrepreneurship and am in the 3rd year of my full time teaching profession. I am aiming at ISB, XLRI, SP Jain and A, B, C for the 1 year PGP program. Will 700 be a good score? More is always nice, but I am estimating the bare minimum......
Quant seems to be a bit intimidating. If I have to pick one section as my strength I will pick Verbal over Quant, though I do not consider my maths weak by any means.
I have started my preparation with the official guides.
Please help me with the tricks (or sources to thetricks) to get the answers quickly and correctly.
Also please suggest some good material for verbal grammar rules.

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.
