Cool, then everything in your profile looks good except GMAT score ( Average for Indians is 700).

You didn't elaborate on which programs are you looking forward to apply?

Since I have budget constraints, I am looking forward to applying to the following 1 year programs (arranged in order of preference):

1. ISB/IIMA/IIMB/IIMC India
2. NUS Singapore
3. Mannheim , Germany

Any suggestions?

NUS is an odd man out (17 months), but the average age and average work exp works out for me.

IIMS are very competitive ( Average goes around 770)

But rest look good. ISB and Menheim will depend on how good you express yourself in the essays. But I don't think you need to retake the GMAT. Instead focus your energy on essays

Hi rajesh86,

First off, a 690/Q49 is a fantastic score (it's just below the 90th percentile overall), so you should apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest might not be necessary. Since you've named some specific Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
