Hi sarang1601,

Raising your score 220+ points in 2.5 months will likely be too difficult of a challenge (it's not impossible, but you would have to accomplish a great deal in a relatively short period of time). You don't have to change your study plans just yet though - I suggest that you study as you see fit for the next 1-2 weeks, then take a new FULL-LENGTH CAT (with the Essay and IR sections). We can use that score result to measure your progress and change your study plan (if needed).

Hi sarang1601,

To perform at a high level on SCs, you'll need a combination of knowledge (grammar and idiom rules), style ('meaning' of a sentence) and Tactics (knowing the common 'patterns' that the GMAT Tests, the common errors, etc.). Since you've already done a certain amount of SC practice already, but you're still getting so many SCs wrong, it's likely that your current methods for dealing with SCs are somehow incomplete.

1) How well do you know the major grammar rules that the GMAT will test you on?
2) What 'steps' do you go through when dealing with a typical SC prompt?
