Hi All,
I have planned to take the GMAT next Friday (1st July).
However, when I took a mock test today, I scored 650-660 ( Q 43-45, V 35-38). I am extremely terrified seeing this score. I had taken a couple of mocks before and used to score in the range of 700-720. And just a week before the test, I fell into the 650 pit.
I try to score a 50 in Quant. My main pitfall is Verbal. I manage well through SC, but CR and RC are my nemeses. I lose focus and concentration while reading RCs and I fail terribly in judging an answer for CR questions.
Keeping in mind that there is hardly 6 days left to the D-day, can you please suggest how to better my performance to score 700+ ?
Please help.

Hi Pri2506,
To start, if you have taken your prior CATs in a realistic fashion, then this score could just be an 'outlier.' The score results are odd though - why are all of the numbers "ranges"? With a normal CAT result, you should have specific individual numbers for your Quant Scaled Score, Verbal Scaled Score and Overall Score.
Since you have less than a week before your Official Exam, you should NOT try to do too much work (NO "cramming") and taking another practice CAT is not a good idea. You should certainly review this CAT so that you can determine WHY you were getting questions wrong (it's likely that you made some little mistakes throughout the Test that cost you some points) and some general review is also a good idea.
