Hi everyone,
I'm writing the GMAT for the 4th time on Friday. I know I know....if I don't do well enough this time then I have to rethink my plans moving forward. Anyways I require around a 28 on verbal and on my previous practice tests over the last few months I've been getting 28 29 and 28 again using Veritas. On Monday I scored 20...then today I did Catprep and scores 19. I don't know what's happening and can't get rid of the anxiety. Should I take a break and just write the exam or should I continue to take practice tests and study. I know Monday I was a bit tired when I wrote but today I have no excuse. Thanks

Hi robinsan,
To start, taking 2 CATs on back-to-back days is NOT a good idea. The process of taking (and reviewing) a CAT requires a significant amount of energy and effort - and takes time to 'recover' from. This is one of the reasons why you typically shouldn't take more than 1 CAT per week.
Since you haven't provided many details about your studies so far, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long did you study before each of your Official GMATs?
2) How have you scored on each of your GMATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
3) What materials have you used for each of your attempts at the GMAT?
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

Since you've taken the GMAT 3 times, and studied for it 3 times, did you use the same practice materials each time? Did you end up taking the same practice CATs each time?
