hello,
I am scheduled to take the GMAT on 24th Dec, 2016.
Till now, I have practiced and below are the scored-
10th Sept - 550 (Q44, V22)
10th Oct - 550 (Q42, V24)
10th Nov- 610 (Q47, V27)
3rd Dec - 650 (Q49, V30)
10th Dec-550 (V42, Q25)
I had my confidence building up until the last test. Now I am confused of what went wrong?
Was it just a bad day OR have I forgotten what I have learnt? I do not know..
can somebody guide what should I do? my target score is 700..

You certainly appear to have been making progress during your studies, so it might be that you just had a 'bad day' on this most recent CAT. I'd like to know more about how you took these CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take them at home?
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE?

Test Day is a rather specific 'event' - the details are specific and they matter, so you have to train as best as you can for all of them. The more realistic you can make your CATs, the more likely the score results are to be accurate. The more you deviate, the more "inflated" your scores can become - and that's likely what has happened here. By taking the CATs at home, taking them at different times of day, seeing repeat questions, etc., you have not been properly training for the FULL GMAT 'experience.' This is meant to say that there's some question as to how accurate these score results actually are.
Given these inconsistencies, your overall score goal and the relatively short timeframe before your scheduled appointment, I highly recommend that you push back your Test Date so that you continue to study and take future CATs in a more realistic fashion.
