My GMAT test is in 5 days and I'm thinking about purchasing the GMAT Focus bundle of 3 tests to as last minute quant prep. Is there any overlap in the questions in those exams versus the OG books, the free Exam Pack, and Exam Packs 1 & 2? I haven't taken the Test 5 and 6 in Exam Pack 2 yet and I definitely don't want any overlap before I take those last two exams.
I got 690 (Q42, V42) in the practice test I took yesterday so hoping these final days of prep will push my quant score up to around 47. I plan on studying 8 hours a day, every day until my test. I have issues with timing for quant and rush through some problems because otherwise I won't finish in time. Hoping the Focus tests will help me with this, as well pinpointing weak areas. If you have any thoughts about the GMAT Focus bundle, please share!

Hi potatohead,
Since your GMAT is in 5 days, you should be careful not to do too much studying (and potentially 'burn out' before Test Day). As such, you really shouldn't take any more practice CATs/Tests (and the plan to study 8 hours a day seems like far too much at this point). Based on your last CAT score, you could easily pick up some points in the Quant section if you just dump a few hard/weird questions in that section - and spend the time that you 'save' answering the 'gettable' questions, double-checking your work, etc.

Hi Rich,
Thanks for your response. My minimum goal is 700, but hoping to reach 720+. Not sure if this is realistic since I've never taken the GMAT before, but I've always been a last minute preparer for tests. I know this is not the ideal method for something like the GMAT, but it's the only way I can sit down and actually study.
My other practice exam scores were:
11/19 - 620 (Q36, V39)
12/04 - 610 (Q37, Q37) - didn't feel well during this test so I was pretty distracted
12/23 - 690 (Q42, V42)
I've studied about 10 hours over each weekend between the first test and the third test.
My main issue with quant is that it takes me a while to solve it because I'm nervous about timing during the timed exams or I panic and blank out. A lot of questions that I don't get on the practice test, I can solve without looking at the solution when I review them again when I am more calm. I will definitely be reviewing concepts that I am shaky on so I don't panic as much during the test.
