apparently my math kinda sucks so I really need a book that helps me with that. Any suggestions? This is my weakness and I plan to conquer. My test is on Dec. 28. I took the first Kaplan CAT and got 420 (24 Q, 22 V). I'm just aiming for at least a 500 with 25% in both Q and V. Is the kaplan math problems harder too compared to the actual GMAT test?

If you need help with brushing up some math skills then the Kaplan Math Workbook will really help . Am sure there are others but I tried this and while not overly complex , its a good grounding of the basics.
However , if u'r aiming for a 500 score , u may already be there since usually Kaplan scores are 100 or so less than the actual GMAT or so it seems . IMO , a better reference point is a PP CAT .
