Hi guys,
So took the test in mid Jan this year and scored a 580 q36 and v34. Was a little disappointed because I thought I will cross 600, however had made my mind up to give the test again in 3 months. However, it's been 2.5 months(almost) now and I am nowhere close what I had set out to do. I kind of drifted...my journey started in Nov 2015, and with some poor coaching, terrible math skills and a family crisis, I scored a 470 q25 and v30 in my first attempt in May 2016. It was a terrible feeling, I took a longish break and decided to resume again in Aug '16 with Magoosh and egmat.
Anyway, coming back to now, I don't really know what happened. I really like the test both studying for it, practicing and testing(not so much though), but sometimes I offlate I don't feel like studying/testing. Anyone out here who feels the same way? I basically know what I need to do now, I just need to practice/take tests. But I can't push myself to do it. And I feel terrible that I'm not putting my best foot forward. Please help me out guys. I'm at home full time now, any insight into how to get out of this "stuck" feeling will be great.

To start, improving from a 470 to a 580 is a significant achievement - so you clearly have the capacity to learn and improve. Raising a 580 to a much higher level will obviously require more work on your part - and it will be a bit tougher, so you have to be prepared to make the necessary changes to how you study and how you approach the Exam.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
4) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
