Hi guys how are you?
I need some help here please. I'm taking the exam on friday, this would be my 3rd attempt. This time I think I'm better prepared, but as I have just finished my 3rd GPREP exam, I cant seem to beat the Q41 on the math part, which lowers considerably my score. These are the scores on the official mocks:
1st attempt 600 Q41 (54%), V31 (59%). Several errors, run out of time in the math part. Got plenty of extra time in verbal, 3/4 mins.
2nd attempt 700 Q44 (63%), V41 (93%). Still troubles with time management in math, didnt answer the last question. In verbal I got again extra time.
3rd attempt 650 Q40 (52%) V39 (88%). I thought I had a better time management this time, but aprox at question 25 I was already low on time (+10min aprox).
By watching the numbers I realize that my score depends heavly on Verbal, mostly on RC and CR as I got vert few errors on both topics, while most of my errors came from SC.
But I'm worried about Math, I cant seem to improve. The scores are pretty well balanced between PS and DS, Arithmetic or Algebra/Geometry. I have already practiced the complete OG 2017 plus both OG reviews, several Gmat Club quizzes, I took tutoring classes and I have already finished all the course practice. I also think that I defenitely need some advice on the strategy, as I have the feeling that I never have enough time. I mean, I end up guessing 10 math questions because I'm tight on time, and later, when I review the exam, the excercises seem easy or solvable. On the contrary, on the verbal part I always have +3/4 mins extra every time.
Any word of advice please? TBH I'm not targetting a +700 score, I'm very confortable in the 690/700 zone. As I said this is my 3rd attempt and my previous score are well below my target (610/600).
Thank you!
