Hi,
I have read different articles about various strategy to do GMAT SC questions. For ex. some suggest elimination route and some suggest to spend more time on option A, decrypt the possible errors and then go for options. Which one is better?

We suggest the following strategy:
1) Understand the intended meaning of the original sentence and see if you can spot obvious errors in the original sentence
2) Do a vertical scan of the options, to spot differences in the construct of the various options
3) Continually keep splitting and eliminating the options, based on the differences in the various options (that you spot in step 2 above)
Having said that Jatin, strategy can only do so much; strategy cannot compensate for concept clarity. So, if you're looking at SC improvement, make sure that concepts are in place (my intent is not to be presumptive; this is just a suggestion for your consideration).

Hi!
I think both are important. You have to understand intended meaning of the original sentence, so carefully read the original sentence and make sure you understand it. If there are obvious errors in A, you can eliminate it and proceed to the other answer choices. Scan vertically and eliminate wrong answers choices. Here is some more info here:
