Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this doesn't make any sense.
If I earn 100 points I can unlock 7 Veritas prep tests.
If I earn 100 points I can unlock premium membership.
Premium membership includes 7 Veritas prep tests and other stuff.
What is up with that?

You need earn kudos by helping fellow community members
to advance to GOLD level to redeem this. Read more about this here to get correct combination of points and kudos.
As evident you need to advance to GOLD status to avail this.
If I earn 100 points I can unlock premium membership.
You need to advance to SILVER level to avail this.
Premium membership includes 7 Veritas prep tests and other stuff.
Yes, the best deal is you get discount on GMAT QP / EP among other stuff.
At present this membership is available to only those members who have SILVER status.

I appreciate your time, but I think you missed the point. The 100 points for Veritas is silly if you can spend 100 for Veritas and more.
