Hi,
I took the GMAT on 19th September 2017 with a 1.5 month prep and scored 460( V19 Q35). This was way less than the score I got in mocks
GMATPrep Free Test 1- 580 (V26 Q40)
GMATPrep Free Test 2- 520 (V22 Q38)
I know my preparation was lacking as I didn't do much practice and just completed my E-GMAT full V and Q course with a week's practice on Scholaranium.
Also, another factor that led to decrease in my score was that my test center had an internet connection issue and there was a 30 mins long disruption during my Verbal part ( Chose the section order as Quants, Verbal, IR& AWA) after I was past 32/ 75 mins and did 13/37 questions. This also caused me a reduction of 4 mins in my overall Verbal time of 75 mins due to which I was pacing and guessing throughout the last 10-12 ques of my Verbal Section.
I have written to GMAC for a free RE-take but haven't got a response yet. Anyway, I am taking the test again now and have taken full leaves and planning to schedule my GMAT on 26th October 2017.
I want some directions as to how should I go about my preparation to score a 700?
Should I quickly go through the concepts again and do the questions dedicated on the course of E-GMAT in the same order of quizzes like Application Quiz, Practice Quiz, OG Questions? Jump to Scholaranium straight ? or Pick up some other material?
I am also planning to purchase GMATPrep Exam Packs to increase my practice.
I struggle both in Quants and Verbal equally because I am from a commerce background and hence was out of touch in maths concepts since 5-6 years.
Expecting a prompt reply ! @E-GMAT,
