Hello,
I recently took (retook, actually) Exam 2 on the Official GMATPrep software and I was really happy to receive a Q50.
When I reviewed my responses I was surprised to see that I answered the 1st three questions incorrectly in a row!!
Knowing how important the 1st 10 questions are, especially the first 5 questions, I'm now wondering how was it possible for me to get a Q 50. Was it because I overall scored only 7 incorrect? But in retrospect that now seems doable since after 3 incorrect questions, probably the level of next questions were much easier to solve.
Also, I find it unlikely that the 1st two questions could be an experimental one (I could be wrong though).
I'm attaching an image just in case anyone would like to see it (not sure if I'm even allowed to attach it, but anyway). Just curious to know your insights and what does this incident speak about the exam's scoring algorithm.
(
Please note: Question 12 I got incorrect as well apart from the ones you can see in the image. Rest are all correct, among the ones you cannot see in the image.)
Thanks in advance
