I am new here. I was never trained on any competitive exam & weak knowledge in both Quant and verbal so i need your help in suggesting and guiding me in GMAT exam with a prep plan of 4 months. I am working for an IT organization and so i can study for 2-3hours on a working day and 5-6 hrs on weekends....

First of all, brush up fundamentals of Quant and Verbal. MGMAT guide books are among the best for fundamentals.
You can take up the self study plan from Gmat club. It is very useful.
