I am current on Week 12 of a 6-month study schedule.

I have completed 2 MGMAT Cats.
680 (Q 44, V38)
690 (Q 45, V38)

I can’t get that Verbal past 40.

Any suggestions?
Try taking a GMATPrep as well. That will give you a more accurate estimate of where you are. Right now though, your verbal looks much better than your quant (V38 is 85%, Q45 is 57%). Pointing that out just in case you're planning to focus more on your verbal than on your quant.
