Hello everyone,
I took my first gmat exam two week ago. 620 (Q46, V28) :/ My aim was getting 680. I consider my retake in 20 days.
I was super nervous and I do not even remember what I read and solve for verbal. I was not able to apply strategies during exam.
I need suggestions for retake preparations. You may find my ESR attached. Please provide feed back and suggestions.

To start, you've improved a great deal from your initial 460, so you shouldn't overlook that accomplishment. That having been said, GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, most of your CAT score results show that you essentially performed the same each time (about 620 +/- a few points). Thus, it's likely that "your way" of approaching the GMAT will continue to earn you a score at this general level. While you're closer to a 680+ than you probably realize, you'll almost certainly need to make adjustments to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections to consistently score at that higher level - and it's likely that all of that training will take at least another month of consistent, guided study (and possibly longer if you're "stubborn" about how you approach the Exam). This is meant to say that 20 days might not be enough time to hit your Goal Score.
Before we discuss your ESR, I'd like to know a bit more about your studies and goals:
1) What study materials have you used so far?
2) What are the exact application deadlines that you're facing?

Player, The verbal is killing you! Focus more on the verbal. Try a different prep vendor, or buy "used" verbal prep books from eBay. I just scored a 10-book full course for $70! Hang in there -- Peace...
