Thank you rulingbear for your words of encouragement. I think the biggest difficulty for me is I don't have a structured plan when it comes to studying for GMAT. I have dilemma of either doing Mahattan Prep or OG right as of now.

I am also very pessimistic about getting accepted to a good MBA program(Ivy league, NYU, Northwestern...etc actual I don't know much about the US business schools) because I feel my previous experience is not good enough to qualify me. Especially, the fact that most applicants are from a really good background such as engineering, corporate development, and consultant. I just don't think its possible to get accepted even if I do get 700+.

Hi DAVEexamPAL I agree with you. What do you think is a good study plan for me at this point in time. I mean I have the resources (OG18, Manhattan) , butI don't think I want to hire a tutor yet due to the high expense.

No need to hire a private tutor at this point.
Start by making a list of all the GMAT topics. Order them from weakest to strongest, based on your studies and practice so far.
Set a target time to take the test (consider actually signing up to make yourself committed..). Now, divide the time left till you want take the test into the different topics you need to study, leaving 10 days at the end for practice test taking. You don't have to give each topic the same amount of time, but rather should budget more time for the harder topics, which you will do first. Plan a schedule for each topic which leaves you with enough time to:
1) Go over the material
2) Solve questions
3) Review your question-solving. Look for reoccurring mistakes, and ask yourself "How can I get this right next time"?. Keep a list of tips you figure out along the way.
Finally, the last 10 days or so should be devoted to solving practice tests. Here as well, only half the time should be actually solving, and half or more should be devoted to reviewing the tests, and going over relevant material. Here's a blog post about making the most of practice tests: https://exampal.com/gmat/blog/make-gmac-mock-tests/.

Also, here are a few blog posts (some of them written by me) with different study plans, depending on how long you have till the test:

I also humbly suggest to take a look at exampal.com - we have a lot of free material.
