Hi Guys,
I need some advice how to move forward.
I started my journey with GMAT in September when I signed up for Manhattan online course. I did the Manhattan mock test at the beginning of October scoring 550 (Q33, V32). Then, I started learning 1-2 hours per week day, 3-5 hours per weekend day (15-20 hours per week). My schedule is very tight – full time consulting job, two small kids… life is not easy

I did the first real GMAT exam at the beginning of December scoring 610 (Q42, V32). Yesterday, after two months of studying I took second real test and I scored 580 (Q44, V25). My second GMAT test is very in line with two mock test I took one week and one day before the second real GMAT (I scored 620 and 590 respectively). Funny, that the mock test I took one day before second real GMAT is almost identical (590, Q44, V27).
As you can see, I improved quant, but my verbal is poor. I really spent 60-70% of the time so far to improve quant and now need to focus on verbal. From the last GMATPrep mock test, out of 17 incorrect Verbal responses, 5 were for RC, 8 were for SC, 4 were for CR.
I am planning to apply to a school where I need to be around 700 to have a competitive application. What would you recommend? Yesterday, I ordered The PowerScore GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible as I remembered good reviews. However, I am not sure whether there are better ways to move forward. As an example, should I try to work with a private tutor?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
