Hi -- I have been told there are about 11 CR questions on the GMAT
Though most of the examinees receive 11 CRs, thats not the case for all. In my last GMAT I think I received 9 CRs. the range is 9 - 11 I think.
How many are
-- assumption -
2/3-- strengthen or weaken -
4/5-- inference -
0-2-- others -
0-2CR is an issue for me but i am trying to focus on the "type" of CR, most asked on the GMAT
Thats the correct approach to improve CR. I too had similar problem and I scored 19 in CR in my 2nd GMAT but improved my score in 3rd GMAT by focusing solely on 3 areas. I suggest you focus on strengthen, weaken, and assumption questions. They cover 90% of the questions and you can easily ace the CR if you only concentrate on those areas.
