Hi,
I'm new to this forum, therefore I'm not sure if this has been discussed already.
After having read reviews of the OG and the PowerPrep software, I've noticed that some feel that the quantitative questions asked in the PowerPrep are far easier than those which one would find while taking the actual GMAT.
I went through the final third of the PS and DS questions in the OG and have noticed that these questions were of the most difficulty when compared to the first two-thirds of each respective section.
My first question is: Is the level of difficulty found in the GMAT to be far greater than even the most difficult questions in the OG?
I also noticed that throughout the quantitative section on the PP, the beginning and end were easy relative to the middle. Is this the same on the GMAT -- easier, more difficult, easier? I had expected the end to be more difficult than the middle, but I found that this was not the case.
Final question: I scored no less than a 47 on both PP quantitative sections (I forget what score exactly, only remembering my overall score), making a couple of careless mistakes, but feeling overall very familiar with the subject matter. Barring the unforeseeable, can I reasonably attain this score, or was I simply faced with PP questions that were not challenging enough?
Thanks in advance for your help.
