Went in cold, completed it untimed: (Would really appreciate any replies with advice on improving PS and RC scores/tips & tricks for someone just beginning the GMAT studying process!!))
Problem Solving: 15/24
Data Sufficiency: 21/24
Reading Comp: 12/17
Critical Reasoning: 12/17
Sentence Correction: 18/18
I felt like a handful of the Problem Solving answers I missed were just because I didn't know some important definitions/easy tricks which I'm hoping to start grinding in the next couple of days. Definitely some major work to be done here.
Really surprised by how well I did on Data Sufficiency! Definitely was uncomfortable with the format at first but once I got in a rhythm I guess it started to click. I'll need to make sure that holds up once I start focusing more on timing... I also feel like there's a more methodological approach to answering these that I picked up on towards the end but would like to learn formally.
Reading Comp is gross, really don't enjoy reading the block of text and then trying to piece together the message. Didn't mind Critical Reasoning as much so I'm a bit surprised I scored the same on both of those. Really looking for strategies to stay focused during these sections.
Not really surprised by the sentence correction--didn't really do a double-take until the last question. I also completely went off of gut feeling (definitions of the errors were kind of drilled into me in high school such that I just know it's wrong when I see it) but I should probably keep running these until I find some question types that I'm less comfortable with. (Also assuming the actual GMAT questions are harder).
