I have not taken a Manhattan course but have been very happy with PR's verbal strategies. The practice tests are the closest to the real thing outside of GMATPrep; I think Manhattan uses Cambridge's tests. I looked at courses but haven't signed up for one yet, but what I liked about PR is that the instructors will stick around after class and help you as much as you need. Sort of like having a tutor as well. I have not read good reviews of Kaplan so I didn't consider them, and don't know anyone myself who has taken Manhattan or Veritas, just PR.

Hope this helps somewhat...

Why don't you check our GMAX Online? It is certainly longer and more in depth that Manhattan Review, and actually teaches the content fully, rather than just give you the material to learn on your own and review it in the class. Read the review here at the GMAT Club, and read the thank you note from one of the members whose score shot from 550 to 750 after taking GMAX Online.
You can also watch lots of demo lessons in the review and see how we teach.
Good luck on the test,
Leanna
