Hi shf126,

Based on this initial CAT Score, I would have to assume that you have the necessary skills to score 450 on the Official GMAT. Whether you actually hit that mark or not is dependent on a number of different factors though, so you have to properly prepare for the specific "event" that is Test Day. To start, you need to think about how you took your CAT (and how you take your future CATs):

1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT in one sitting (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take it at home?
3) Did you take it at the same time of day as when you plan to take your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during this CAT that you can't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you take this CAT more than once? Had you seen any of the questions BEFORE (re: for example, in an online forum or in a practice set)?

As an aside, when you say that the School has a minimum score requirement of 450, does that mean that if you get a 450 that you will automatically be accepted? Or does it mean that you need a 450+ just to apply?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
