Hi contador7,

The official score report is usually available within 2-5 days after the test. Your unoffical score is printed out right after the test without AWA score.

Hope this helps!

thanks guys!

I'm from Europe and I'd be looking to get into schools in Sweden, and unfortunately I think the official doc must be included before the deadline

Hi contador7,

Most Business Schools will not consider it a problem if your Official Score Report is not immediately available (as long as all of the other parts of your application are in on time). It can often take weeks (or months) for Business School Admissions Officers to decide who to invite to attend their Programs, so the potential issue that you're talking about probably won't be an issue at all. In simple terms, it's highly unlikely that you would be rejected on the first day if your Official Score Report was not available. That having been said, if you are concerned about how a School would handle this issue, then you should contact the School's Admissions Office directly and ask.

Hi!

I know at mba website says it takes around 20 days to get the official score and send it to the schools.

Are they usually faster than that? Has someone got his official score document within say two weeks?

Thank you!
Normally, less than a week. Sometimes, a few days.

However, your target school(s) will not start validating scores immediately, so you do not have to worry about when the score reports will be made available to your schools (by the way, you'll get an email confirmation when your scores have been made available to the schools you selected). Just make sure you take the GMAT before the deadline.

Hi contador7,

As you can see, there is no guarantee that you will receive your official score report sooner than the 21-day window. That being said, why don’t you reach out to the folks in admissions to explain your situation? Perhaps they initially will accept your unofficial GMAT score.

Let us know how things turn out.

Good luck!
