Hi guys,
I took my Gmat two days ago and scored 710 - Q49 V36. Had a near heart attack on Verbal because I had been consistently scoring 40+ in the Gmatprep / ETS (best being V46 and total score of 770!).
I'm trying to evaluate if I should retake my GMATs, and this involves checking if my strategy for studying Verbal was wrong. Would appreciate feedback on this.
SC
- OG + Forum questions (I prefered to look at the forum since the questions there overlap with 1000SC and I get instant explanations)
- notes from various debriefings in the forum
CR
- OG + forum questions again
- 3 lsat tests
RC
- OG
- 1 lsat test
RC was my strongest section as on gmatprep/ets I went through without getting a single RC question wrong. Yet on the actual gmat test, I fumbled a bit. I found SC and CR the most difficult though.
Any ideas on whether I did something wrong, and if its actually possible to improve my verbal score, and how?
Thanks!
