Hi guys,
This is my first post. Took my Kaplan free practice test yest. My very first exam without any sort of prep. Wanted to know my weak areas. Got a 41 on Math ( was really dumb on this one) and a 34 on verbal. Overall 600. Break up on verbal was something like 3 wrong on CR, 4 wrong on RC and 8 wrong on SC !! SC was the bane.
I got roughly 6 weeks before my GMAT. I desperately need a 700 to qualify for good schools. Any suggestions on how to go about planning study schedule vis a vis Barrons, Arcos, Kaplan, OG would be helpful.

Don't worry about your Kaplan scores...it's been written many times in the forums that their tests are good practice, but that the scores they give tend to be about 50-100 points below what you would get on the real thing.
Take some more practice tests - PR and Powerprep are a lot closer to the real thing. I would suggest Verbal Workout from PR to ace the verbal section, and possibly their Grammar Smart book (excellent grammar bible to have on hand for the essays, btw - all the English grammar rules. I am keeping this one after it's all said and done!).
And definitely plow through the OG. It's your best bet for practice questions.
