But you got 650 in the first attempt. So your goal of 630 is certainly within reach.

Good luck!

Hi AzinFall,

Unfortunately, seeing even a couple of 'repeat" questions on your last couple of practice CATs/mocks likely did 'throw off' the Scoring Algorithm and impact your pacing, energy levels, fatigue, etc. (meaning that they would likely all appear to be better than they actually are). As a result, those Scores are likely 'inflated.' On the Official GMAT, you will NOT see any questions that you have already answered, but in some rare cases you might see 2 questions that are similar to one another (in terms of the concepts that are tested or the patterns involved).

In these last few days before your Official GMAT, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (so NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.

As far as how you might Score, it's important to remember that the GMAT will give you the Score that you EARN - so while you do NOT need to correctly answer any of the hard/weird questions to score 630+, you do have to keep the little mistakes to a minimum. We can use your 580 CAT result as a basis for comparison here; how many questions did you get wrong on that CAT because you made a silly or little mistake? If you can avoid making those mistakes on Test Day, then you'll have a much better chance of hitting your Score Goal.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi AzinFall,

While 630 is not out of the question for your upcoming exam, there are still no guarantees. Regarding the questions on your GMAT, you won’t see any repeated questions from any of your practice exams.
