Hi guys, first of all, English is my second language.....
I recently did the GMAT Prep and I took 22 question right (of 41)
I have practiced with other CATS and I have taken between 27-35 score with 20 -24 questions right (800 score)
The thing is that the GMAT prep gave me 21 points!!! for the 22 questions right. My wrong questions were: 4,5,6,7,9,10,12,23,25,26,28,31,32,34,35,36,37,38 and 39 (total 19)
I got 6 right (of 14) in RC , 8 right (of 10 ) in CR and 8 right (of 17) in SC
Is the result of 21 given by the GMAT prep correct?
(I friend of mine got 18 rights and got 23 points and the wrong anwsers and in similar places)
I didn´do the math part....i am practicing full verbal...
Thanks .....my test is on saturday....so I need to resolve this problem.

All the points on the score are "scaled" scores. The scaled score is related to the number of correct answers you get, but is not the same.
So if you got 18 correct, doesn't mean that you will have a score of 18.
I believe the maximum "sub score" is V60, Q60 of you get 800 on the GMAT. However effective max score is Q51, V48.
As for 21 points for 22 correct, it depends on how you got the 22 correct. If you got a series of 10-15 wrong answers at the beginning of the test, then it might be the case that you will get a low score.
I would suggest taking to complete test if you are close to your final GMAT test day. That will give you a better idea.
Nonetheless, you need to check what part of the test did you get the wrong answers and how many did you get wrong in a sequence. That might answer some of the questions you have.
