Hi Nidhi,

Many of the questions in an OG carry-over to the next version of the book, meaning that you would be fine using any recent version of the Official Guide (going back to the OG13).

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When is your exact Test Date?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi nidhi2508,

There are no issues with using an older official guide. However, are you also using any other resources? Do you need any advice regarding your study plan?

Only a few new questions are added in every new edition and few of the questions are retired. You may find the new questions which are added in 2021 edition here. The ones highlighted in yellow on this page (2021 OG) are the new ones :)

Therefore, if you solve the questions from the aforesaid link by searching the first few words on GMATCLUB, you will find the question and it would mean you have solved 2021 as well:)

All the best!

You shouldn't experience any major differences between past OGs and the latest OG.
