HI,
I took 2 Official practice tests and was able to score 650(Q49 V30), and 690(Q50 V31). I have two weeks left for Gmat.
Things i observed wrt my verbal performance:
I am running out of time for last 5 questions.
I was able to solve about 30 questions in the 60 minutes. But have to crunch last 5 questions in 5 minutes and both cases i saw a hard RC Question followed by SC, all of those i had to guess.
Among the 30 questions i attended, I answered wrong on 3 RC(RC I usually do well, but got anxious as i was running out of time ), 4SC and 2 CR. And out of 6 i guessed 5 went wrong.
I realised, I can improve a lot just by getting enough time to work on last 6 questions.
I recently came across a new technique with which I was able to improve my performance significantly While practicing SC on OG hard questions. Not sure why I couldnt reciprocate the same in the Practice test.
So I can Dedicate 5hrs a day for next two weeks, and more on weekends.
What is the best way I can improve my speed on verbal, and also Tackle SC in general.

I don't think mere practicing would help. Try to recognise where you are spending more time unconsciously and cut it short in mocks. Try CATs from GMATclub.

Many Test Takers face pacing issues in the Quant section, the Verbal section or both – so you are not alone. However, it's important to remember that pacing problems do NOT exist on their own - they're the results of OTHER problems. Depending on how you've been studying, you may have developed some 'bad habits' that are impacting your pacing and keeping you from scoring higher. Based on your overall Score Goal, you might need more than just 2 weeks to properly define and fix those issues though, so you might need to consider pushing back your Test Date.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) Are these the only 2 practice CATs that you have taken? On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
