Hi everyone,
So I gave my GMAT for the second time today, and I'm so disheartened because I don't know what happens on the day of the exam. I just bomb the paper.
Before my first exam, I was scoring 620–660 and I ended up with a 580 on the real exam. I gave it again today. I was scoring 660–710 on my mocks this time around, but I ended up with a poor 590 today.
At the beginning of the exam I was super distracted because of another person typing aggressively, so the noise of the keys kept disturbing me. Then I put on the headphones and then the markers weren't working properly (even tho I checked before). This threw me off a couple of times, but then I just feel like I get so so nervous and then I get restless.
I know my prep is decent (but it can't be lol if I'm getting this much in the real exam).
Does anyone have any advice for me? What could I do to not get nervous – this is such a difficult question to answer, I'm sure, but I just feel like what if the GMAT isn't for me.
If anyone's faced something similar, it'd be great if you could tell me how you got through this!
