Hi together!,

do you have any tips, how I can manage the real GMAT quant without nasty suprises?
I aimed for a score of 500+.

My quantitative preparation included so far:
-learning the basics concepts of all Manhattan prep books
-working through OG 2020 + quant review
-working through all online quant practice sets from mba.com

I managed the biggest parts of these task without problems. However, i heard that the real GMAT contains some tasks with traps and difficulties. What should I do in the last three weeks of my preparation, to overcome these challenges?

Best regards

Honestly, if you did OG and if you are clear with the concepts, I think you should be able to get 500+. There won't be any nasty surprises on GMAT quant unless you are not familiar with the question types of GMAT. Why don't you take an official mock and check your level?

Hi Edeler,

In a prior post, we discussed how there might have been a 'tech issue' with your Official At-home GMAT Exam. Have you heard anything back from GMAC about this issue? I ask because based on your prior CAT/mock Scores, you likely have the skills right now to score 500+, meaning that you do not necessarily have to do a lot of additional studying to hit your Score Goal.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hi Rich,

after a lot of mails, they don't give me a respond so far. I have no idea how I can solve this problem. I think that I will not come to my right. So I have to accept these unfair test conditions and retake the GMAT online. If you have any idea for another solution with the customer support, please let me know.

Best regards

Hi Edeler,

To be honest, as long as you prep thoroughly and "cover your bases", you really should not see too many surprises on test day. When is your GMAT? Have you taken any practice exams to get a baseline score?

Hi Scott,

I plan to retake the GMAT online in 2 weeks. I prepare now for 12 weeks. I took all the six practice exams from mba.com. I started with a score of 440 in the first mock test and reached a 610 in the last mock test.
