You can try it :) but I don't think it has changed (I've tried it -- so have many others), the modification date on the .dat files is sometime in 2005.

ok, there's one more thing i wanna add to the original question..
I downloaded the GMAT Prep software in January this year.. so its been roughly 8 months.. My question is whether or not it is possible that the GMAT Prep software may have undergone any further upgradation after being officially uploaded on mba.com?

Should i consider downloading it one more time so that i could see some more new questions?

Thanks

Did you dig into the files and view the them with a hex editor? Mine were officially created on Dec 14, 2005.

so is it reasonable that you could take around 4 tests with mostly new questions?

Just be a little cautious about not putting all your eggs in one basket. GMATPrep will give you new questions in quant even until that 4-5th attempt, but verbal will repeat a lot. I'll be putting out a write up on some quant strategies + how to get the best out of GMATPrep, quite soon.

I have verbal down fairly well at this point, my main area of concern is the quant section. The Kaplan cats frustrate me to no end and frankly I don't think they all that helpful.

I look forward to reading your tips necromonger!
